I experience and see something new at the Louvre in Paris every time I go back. There are so many treasures there that it’s hard to show just a few favorite photos. What I do find when I spend some time there is the emotion that shows in the paintings and sculptures.
Study the art and sculptures and experience the creators
If you study the faces, bodies, or subject matter of the art, you will experience and feel the subject’s emotion and the creator. You can imagine the artists and sculptors working so long ago for days, months, years, and longer. The labor of love and devotion to expressing themselves in various media. Do you think they realized that the works they created would live forever and impact so many over the centuries? I am moved by this and love to study each one, trying to understand and acknowledge the greatness and talent that went into these works of art.
