The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden is one of the prettiest and well-maintained botanical gardens in the country. I had a chance to visit this garden in the spring of 2019 when all of the bulbs and spring-flowering shrubs were in full bloom.

Plenty of visitors

The garden was busy, even though it rained a little and chilly by Texas standards. It was great to see people out enjoying the gardens,  gorgeous spring color, and each other. I was only able to spend a few hours walking around. I only saw a fraction of what they have to offer, but it was well worth any time you can to experience this garden. If it looks this good in spring, I look forward to seeing it in other seasons. To see how it transforms and changes in color and texture.

Each section of the garden is like walking into another room of a well-designed house. I found myself heading down paths, not knowing where it would take me. I was pleasantly surprised every time I walked into another well-maintained area of the garden. But that’s the joy of exploring the Arboretum. Visit this link, Dallas Arboretum, and Botanical garden, for more information and times it is open to the public.
