There is noting quite like hunting over a Brittany Spaniel for Pheasants in Iowa. During this hunt the birds were holding so tight that I don’t think we would have left the field with these 3 birds without Macie holding point on them, and then finding them when downed in thick brush and grass. At 8 years old in this picture, Macie still has energy to go all day in the field and flawlessly hold point on hunkered in and waiting roosters.
