Every time I visit Paris I try to find out-of-the-way places to photograph, but always fall back on the tried-and-true tourist sites as well. Here are 5 of my latest trip. Enjoy!

Eiffel Tower: Designed by Gustave Eiffel began construction in January 1887 and finished in March 1889 2 years, 2 months, and 5 days later. Constructed of 7,300 tons of iron and 2,500,000 rivets. Visit here for more info https://www.toureiffel.paris/en

Arc de Triomphe: The Arc de Triomphe is an iconic symbol of French national identity. It stands at the center of the Place Charles de Gaulle. Napoleon, I commissioned the arch in 1806—after his victory at the Battle of Austerlitz to celebrate the achievements of the French armies and finished completion in 1836.

Seine River: The Seine river in Paris divides the city in half creating the left and right banks. Make sure to take a boat ride seeing the sites and the 37 bridges which span across the river.

A carousel in the Tuileries, Paris: There are 20 carousels spotted throughout Paris. Carousels in Paris date to the early 1900s and are still enjoyed today. This one in Jardin des Tuileries, a park near the Louvre is one of the prettiest.

Playing chess in the park: These gentlemen were playing chess near the Jardin du Luxembourg. I couldn’t resist trying to capture the focus and intensity of the group.
